Evaluations

June 2020: The improvement in Kinslow’s game over the past two years is extremely noticeable. She’s turned herself into a consistent threat to catch and shoot all the way to the 3-point line. Add that to her physical development and she has the look of a true next level forward. Kinslow’s energy and vocal nature did not go unnoticed here as she led her teammates in seemingly every drill, competition.
December 2019: Kinslow has become a sharpshooting specialist who can play multiple positions on the floor because of her strength, physicality and length.  She’s able to slash and score as well.  Her instincts defensively are good as well and she has shown the ability to guard both front court and backcourt opposition.  As you want to see with a shooter she gets her shot off quickly with efficient feet, a consistent pocket and high release.  We’ve seen her evolve over the years but one of the great things that has stuck with her throughout her growth is her work ethic and willingness to lead.
May 2017: On both ends of the floor, she is crashing the boards hard looking to grab loose balls and create opportunities. That extra effort isn’t going unnoticed. When she grabs rebounds, she has to secure the ball and make better outlet passes to the perimeter to restart the offense. She has a tendency to bring the ball down when she grabs the board and needs to keep it high, so other defenders can’t tip her passes. Offensively, she had a great play in transition where she got a pass up the floor for a layup and converted a tough And 1. She had strong contact going at the rim and her balance going to score is improving. Kinslow is taking the necessary steps to continue to build on the foundation she is laying for herself and is proving her desire to compete and grow within the game.
August 2016: She plays with pure grit and competitive spirit which is something that is instilled in her blood. She goes hard and it really elevates the energy of the game because of it. Kinslow is still developing her offensive game, but she already has a solid base to work from and has the size to go with it. She rebounds hard and gets extra posessions by tracking loose balls, but where she can add the most value to her game will be her ability to play on the interior and have the capabilities to knock down the perimeter jumper consistently. With her size, mismatch opportunities could be in her wake. Overall, Kinslow is all hustle and it will be great to see her progression over the next few years.
