Check Me Out Alaska

November 20-24, 2019

About this event

The 2019 Check Me Out Alaska powered by ELITE is EARNED Basketball will be hitting two cities again. For 2018 we’ll be hitting both Anchorage and Fairbanks! Friday afternoon and Saturday morning (times below) we’ll be in Fairbanks and Saturday night and Sunday we’ll be in Anchorage.

Elite Is Earned lead trainer Ashley Corral will be back leading our training sessions and former college head coach Arvin Mosley Jr., will join us. Early bird registration expires November 1st.  Corral trains both male and female players from the professional, collegiate and youth ranks at her gym, Legends, in Vancouver, WA.  Mosley was a college head coach at two programs in the State of Washington before starting Dreams In Sight.

Camp Director Chris Hansen is a voting member of the McDonald’s All American Selection Committee for girls and nominates for the boys.  He’s also on the voting panel for the Naismith Trophy Awards.

General Questions

What do i bring?

Every player should bring a basketball, a snack and water with them.

How do the evaluations work?

Our team of evaluators will look at as many of the players at the event as possible and that information will be made available to our network of college subscribers via the Elite is Earned Report and the JumpOffPlus.com National Report. Those evaluations are not made public. If you want the additional exposure with the ability to share her player card information with people and have it viewable to the general public then attending one of our showcases and adding the ProspectsNation.com evaluation package is the best option.

Am i guaranteed to be ranked if i attend this event?

No. Our rankings are based on our entire team’s evaluations from across the country each year. The ProspectsNation.com ranking committee reviews the relevant classes multiple times each year.  You cannot “buy a ranking”. Evaluations are solely based on the player’s performance in the event.

Can i stay and watch my daughter player?

Yes we have limited seating for Training Camp but you are more than welcome to stay. Please be mindful of the athletes and keep from standing near the playing surface.  Admission for training camp is free.  Feel free to take video and photos as you wish.
